I am 31 year old with no job and low self-confidence
I grew up in White Rock, British Columbia. I am now 31 years old and I haven’t been able to get a job that I would be proud of. I have an undergraduate degree in Biology, worked at many odd jobs and currently am without any. It hurts because every time I apply nothing comes through and it’s been going on for over 2 years now. I have thought of ending my life because not having a source of income this long has affected my confidence and personality. I lie to people by talking a lot but really I want to end my life real soon. I hate the feeling that I can’t buy presents for my family for Christmas, I hate the fact that I can’t go out with my friends because I am so broke all the time. Now I am to the point where I have lost most of my friends and most of my self-confidence!

You know what pal, I Have 2 careers that require me to go out all the time and pound the pavement and look for work. And you know what I learned, When nothing comes about its usually because I didnt try hard enough. Sitting at home cruising the internet for work isnt gonna help, you gotta get off your arse get out there and start hounding people for work and keep at it. If you want something you have to fucking take it and once you get a shot you gotta make it count for all its worth. Dont go in there being a feeble little dweeb, go in to the job and make them realize you have something to offer. Get your head out of your self loathing ass, Print out 50 resumes and give them to someone who can give you a job, not some bitch secretary who is only at that job cause she has a tight ass. And dont be a pleading little worm begging for work, make sure they realize that whatever company hires you becuase yes you are looking somewhere else as well is gonna make millions off your ass.
